Injection Moulding Setter x4

Overview: Working alongside our client, a leading injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for 4 Injection Moulding Setters to support continued business growth.

 

Remit:

• Candidates MUST HAVE proven experience within injection moulding manufacturing and demonstrable knowledge of injection moulding machinery, processes and materials

Role:

• As Injection Moulding Setter you will ensure correct material is supplied to the machine in accordance with the production order
• Performing tool changes and machine condition setting
• Starting and set up of injection moulding machines, automation systems and ancillaries as required
• Energy management of machines not needed for production, applies to switching off pumps on injection moulding machines, conveyor motors etc
• Basic machine and tool maintenance
• Equipping the IML systems with IML films, documenting the order change and removing the labels and finished parts of the previous order
• Assist with new machinery / products being introduced to site including sample production
• Assist engineering and toolroom departments where possible
• Ensure all production documentation is returned to the appropriate department for recording and storage
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and housekeeping are maintained at all times

 

Experience Requirements:

• Industry recognized injection moulding qualifications
• Demonstrable experience within injection moulding manufacturing
• Working knowledge of injection moulding machinery, processes and materials
• Ability to work effectively on own initiative
• Good problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Team player
