Account Manager
Overview: Working alongside our client, a leading 1st tier supplier & manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced Account Manager with Tier 1 automotive commercial management expertise.
Remit:
- This position will suit an experienced Account Manager / Sales Professional with a background in automotive manufacturing with prior knowledge of supplying into automotive OEM’s
- Fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Account Manager with Tier 1 automotive supply chain experience to join a forward-thinking company
Role:
- As Account Manager you will manage all commercial issues relating to product pricing and new project costs for automotive OEM’s
- In the role of Account Manager you will represent the company in face to face meetings with customers
- As Account Manager you will be the first point of contact for RFQ’s
- Presenting quotes to the customer and negotiating sales price
- Manage commercial considerations of customer design changes and presenting costs to the customer
- Attend weekly project reviews and precent mission creep from original statement of works and RASIC
- Review changes to supplier pricing and negotiate price uplift with the customer
Experience Requirements:
- Must have Tier 1 automotive supply chain experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to build strong business relationships
- Experience processing RFQ’s
