Account Manager

Overview: Working alongside our client, a leading 1st tier supplier & manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced Account Manager with Tier 1 automotive commercial management expertise.

Remit:

  • This position will suit an experienced Account Manager / Sales Professional with a background in automotive manufacturing with prior knowledge of supplying into automotive OEM’s
  • Fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Account Manager with Tier 1 automotive supply chain experience to join a forward-thinking company

 

Role:

  • As Account Manager you will manage all commercial issues relating to product pricing and new project costs for automotive OEM’s
  • In the role of Account Manager you will represent the company in face to face meetings with customers
  • As Account Manager you will be the first point of contact for RFQ’s
  • Presenting quotes to the customer and negotiating sales price
  • Manage commercial considerations of customer design changes and presenting costs to the customer
  • Attend weekly project reviews and precent mission creep from original statement of works and RASIC
  • Review changes to supplier pricing and negotiate price uplift with the customer

 

Experience Requirements:

  • Must have Tier 1 automotive supply chain experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to build strong business relationships
  • Experience processing RFQ’s
