Project Engineer

Principal Accountabilities:

Provide project engineering support to aid with the execution of capital projects and improvement projects, from conception to completion

Projects ranging from £1000+ (small projects) to £10m+ (major Capex projects)

Site supervision and management duties, including managing contractors and ensuring relevant HSEQ systems and site management systems are adhered to

Collaborating with the site operations and maintenance teams to co-ordinate installation works to minimise downtime and disruption

Purchasing and procurement using CMMS

Compiling and maintaining comprehensive records and documents for projects

Preparing and reviewing technical documentation such as equipment specifications, quotations, drawings, procedures etc

Involvement in design reviews, HAZOPs, Risk Assessment reviews etc

Any other reasonable tasks


Knowledge and experience:

Engineering degree (Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering preferred)

1 -2 years industrial experience preferred but will consider graduates

Experience of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

Full, clean driving license and own transport preferred but not essential

Positive can-do attitude

Self motivated

Well organised
