Sales Account Manager

Package:

  • Uncapped OTE of £55,000+
  • 5% Commission on new product lines sold into existing accounts for 12 months following first order
  • Commission paid monthly
  • £5,000 Car Allowance
  • 5% Company Pension Contribution

Role:

As an Account Manager at Measom Freer, you will be instrumental in driving the growth of our business by developing our existing accounts in the plastic packaging industry.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and market trends within the plastic packaging industry.
  • Prospecting: Identify and approach current customers with new product opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other outreach methods.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with all existing clients, understanding their needs, and positioning our plastic packaging solutions as the ideal choice.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with the internal teams to develop customised proposals that address the unique requirements of our clients.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations, address concerns, and work towards successful contract closures to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized and effective sales pipeline, providing daily updates to through the CRM.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather feedback from clients to ensure continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
  • New Product Launch: Play a key role in communicating the recent launch of our new industrial bottle range of bottles to our existing customers.
  • Promote Custom Moulding Service: Collaborate with the Designer, Toolroom, and Production Manager to promote our in-house Custom Moulding Service throughout the Design, Manufacture, and Supply Stages.
  • Represent at Events: Represent the company at trade shows, customer visits, and site tours.
  • Presentations: Conduct professional presentations to both customers and colleagues.
  • Identify New Opportunities: Identify and report on new opportunities in target markets in line with the Sales Strategy.
  • Reporting: You will be responsible for regular presentations of your work, reporting to the Directors and the Operations Manager.
  • Collaborate with Marketing: Collaborate with our Marketing agency to analyse market data, identify trends, and explore business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 5 Years experience as a Business Development Executive/Manager, Account Manager, or a similar role.
  • Experience selling within the Plastics Packaging sector.
  • Demonstrated successful self-directed experience in a sales environment.
  • Proficient in IT skills, including Word, Excel, Teams, Sales systems, and Database Management.
  • Hybrid Working UK wide travel.
  • Overnight events and travel required on an ad hoc basis.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
