Client Overview:

Our client is an internationally integrated specialist supplier to the food, beverage and packaging industries. Their product portfolio is set up to support the supply of commodity plastics to production facilities globally but have plans to broaden their offering and extend their reach.

 

Role Overview:

As a Business Development Manager in the US, you will join an international team of forward-thinking individuals who value innovation and customer satisfaction. You will develop and grow existing partnerships, incorporating your existing network of both suppliers and clients. With the tools to do the job and fully autonomous, it will be your task to employ different tactics which will govern your success. The ideal candidate will be a team player and collaborator who has an entrepreneurial spirit.

 

Responsibilities:

· Identify opportunities, market segments, and target clients to generate new leads.
· Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitors.
· Develop and implement strategies to expand the customer base, and grow revenue in the Mid-West of the USA
· Build strong relationships with key clients, understand their business objectives and providing solutions to mee their requirements.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective delivery of products and solutions to customers.
· Prepare sales reports and sales forecasts to evaluate sales efforts and identify areas for improvement.
· Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments that may directly impact the business.

 

Candidate Profile:

· A proven track record of generating new business, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth within the USA.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
· Self-motivated and result-driven, proactive in identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
· Comfortable working autonomously as well as within a team.
· Strong understanding of the polymer market.
· Degree educated.
