Company Overview:

Our client is a leading supplier of compounds used to clean plastic processing machinery, removing leftover plastic, colour and carbon deposits from machines, enabling fast colour and material changes, clean screws, barrels and hot runners without the need for a full strip-down.  This saves considerable time and money for customers.
This successful European headquartered business is further expanding its operations into Spain, this involves the hire of a sales representative who will focus on key regions of Spain, introducing their market leading products to clients across the plastics processing sectors.

 

The Roles:

The Technical Sales Representative will play a critical role in driving Spanish market growth by developing new business opportunities through their existing network in the plastics conversion sector. This position is suited to a commercially driven, technical sales professional who offers experience of plastic processing in particular injection molding, blow molding and extrusion.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Drive sales growth in Spain, achieving sales targets set
· Utilising your existing network in industry, identify new business opportunities
· With the support of the groups management team, develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives
· Manage the full sales lifecycle
· Act as the technical support during customer interactions, including trials and troubleshooting
· Collaborate with key customer contacts to highlight overall manufacturing and financial benefits.
· Lead demonstrations on customers premises.
· Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline tracking and reporting
· Represent the company at industry trade shows, exhibitions and customer visits

 

Candidate Profile:

· An established network in the plastics industry
· Proven track record of selling solutions into injection moulding, extrusion, or blow moulding markets (materials, ancillaries, compounds)
· Strong technical understanding of plastics processing
· Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
· Highly organised with effective territory and pipeline management skills
· Self-motivated
· Willing and able to travel as required by business needs
· Must be able to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 55lbs/25KG
· Position involves bending, lifting and standing
· Professional level of English is required
