Job Description:

Are you an experienced automation engineer looking for a new challenge? Are you passionate about driving technology advancements and eager to make a significant impact in your field?
As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative automation solutions that will transform the company. You will work alongside a driven team of engineers and experts in the different factories, where you use your expertise to solve complex problems and drive the company’s automation initiatives forward.
The automation to be installed range from the very simple 3 axis robots, pick and place units, to complete assembly lines that can be in line or off line from the injection molding machines. Also there are several manual, semi automatic and fully automatic assembly lines producing finished goods for the customers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Automation Strategy: Lead the development and execution of the company’s automation strategy, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
· System Design: Design, develop, and optimize automation systems and processes, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
· Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of automation engineers, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and development.
· Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into existing processes and workflows.
· Quality Assurance: Implement precise testing protocols and quality assurance measures to ensure the reliability and performance of automation systems.
· Documentation: Maintain documentation of automation designs, protocols, and processes.
· RFQ’s: You are also involved in the primary phase where you support your sales colleagues during the quotation phase, so that they can make verified proposals to our customers.
· Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to automation systems.
· Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and actively explore opportunities for innovation.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
· Minimum 10 years of proven experience in automation engineering.
· Deep and proven expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing automated systems and processes, demonstrating a track record of successfully delivering complex automation solutions.
· Good knowledge of automation technologies including PLCs, HMIs and robots
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Effective communication, strong in teamwork and leading a team of professionals.
· Experience in the manufacturing industry
· Good to high level of English
· Open to travel – around 30%
