The Client:

A worldwide leader in composite design and manufacturing, creating applications for the oil & gas, aerospace, packaging and robotics markets.
The business offers custom high performance composite solutions for the most demanding professional applications, built on an exclusive know-how of industrial processes.

Purpose of the Role:

Establish, develop and drive growth strategy for the business, creating strong relationships & networks with the end users within the printing and packaging industry.
The ideal candidate will have extensive B2B sales of technical products within flexible plastic printing industry, especially dealing with Cl flexographic presses and will have significant exposure to European or international sales.

⦁ Identify growth areas in the Flexographic and Flexible Packaging market.
⦁ Create, develop and execute customer strategies and plans
⦁ Proactively maintain and increase current customer business through regular F2F meetings
⦁ Conduct market analysis and market segmentation to identify new customers.
⦁ Observation of market and competitive developments and industry intelligence.
⦁ Management of full sales cycle from business initiation to receipt of payment; including service delivery and commercial terms.
⦁ Develop and steer the agent network within the territories
⦁ Negotiate sales and actively pursue new business opportunities
⦁ Manage key accounts, including service delivery, commercial terms and payment
⦁ Maintain high level of customer satisfaction to maximize volume and revenue
⦁ Forecast, budget and report sales data within sales organization
⦁ Achieve agreed sales budget, both volume and net return in line with company expectations
⦁ Collect industry intelligence covering customer, competitor and supplier
⦁ Attend trade shows, conferences and participate in working groups at industries associations
⦁ Develop an extensive network with the end users i.e. printers and convertors.

The Profile:

⦁ Degree in Engineering or Business
⦁ Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in B2B environment, managing global or European – wide sales
⦁ Industry relevant background – Flexographic printing or flexible packaging
⦁ Affinity for technology and experience with technically complex products
⦁ Independent and solution-oriented way of working
⦁ High communication and presentation skills
⦁ Distinct team spirit
⦁ Open personality and confident appearance
⦁ Very good, business fluent English, other languages desirable
⦁ High willingness to travel in an international environment
