The client:

An international business supplying innovative high-speed packaging solutions. The company are a leader in manufacturing protective packaging for shipment and automated end-of-line solutions for logistic distribution centers. The constant development of materials, systems and total solution concepts have earned them a reputation as an innovative leader in the packaging industry.


The key objective of this role is to develop and grow new business for the materials and capital equipment markets, you will be part of a small sales team and will be dedicated to generating new leads and capitalizing on them driving new business opportunities.

The Role:

⦁ Identify, engage and fulfil opportunities selling the full range of automation equipment and materials provided.
⦁ Business development of new customers in UK and Ireland
⦁ Provide accurate and timely reports on sales activities and maintain accurate CRM data
⦁ Develop customer and sector sales plans

Key Skills:

⦁ Hunting New Business Development Opportunities
⦁ Self-motivated with high level of initiative
⦁ Sector, customer, and product knowledge
⦁ Relationship management and networking
⦁ Acquisition and growth of customer base

The person:

⦁ Proven success in sales able to quantify their successes
⦁ Able to show examples of complete sales process (lead generation to completion of order)
⦁ Experience with long sales cycles (6 months plus)
⦁ Sales experience of high value equipment (million +)
⦁ Sales of capital equipment
