⦁ The Regional Business Development Manager will be responsible for the EMEA region and will help to identify growth areas in the CASE Polyurethane and Bioplastics market for the Engineered Polymers product range.
⦁ Develop a robust pipeline of new prospects, develop business cases, and lead prioritized programs through the opportunity development pipeline.
⦁ You will have a strong understanding of market analysis, market segmentation, and in navigating these segments to identify new customers or potential new applications.
⦁ Work with the sales and technology teams to identify new potential customers in current markets and explore new potential markets.
⦁ Manage development projects that best utilize our resources for value growth.
⦁ Complete and maintain project plans for all key programs including tactical and strategic recommendations ready to hand over to the commercial team at the right stage.
⦁ Identification of and relationship development with potential partners.
⦁ Develop our regional marketing activities.
⦁ Leadership of best practices in Polyurethanes & Bioplastics for market evaluation and entry strategy.
⦁ Collaborate with commercial and technical teams on key customer interaction and needs analysis.
⦁ University degree in science or business. Advanced business degree is a plus.
⦁ 5+ years of sales or marketing experience within the specialty chemicals sector. It would be a distinct advantage to have experience in the field of Biopolymers or Biomaterials. Other areas of interest include Coatings, Adhesives, PU elastomers or Bioplastics
⦁ Demonstratable understanding of sustainable raw materials, life cycle analysis and the circular economy would be an advantage.
⦁ Proven track record that can develop a strong business case, outlining the key opportunities and the ability to turn an idea into an opportunity growth.
⦁ This individual should be innately curious, with the ability to converse with prospects, customers, and other industry experts to dig out value added opportunities, for our current products and feed new product ideas & market trends into our Innovation division
⦁ Comfort in front of customers and prospects.
⦁ Strong commercial, strategic, and marketing mindset and toolbox.
⦁ Ability to use various business and social media platforms to search for new prospects
⦁ Proven ability to take projects from idea to commercial success.
⦁ Financial acumen.
⦁ Strong listening, technical learning ability and dot connector.
⦁ Innate curiosity.
⦁ Cross-functional relationship skills.
⦁ Resilient, resourceful, optimistic and energetic.
⦁ Use of Salesforce, or similar, as a CRM system would also be a benefit
