Job Mission:

As a Plant and Process Safety Engineer, you will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of plant safety management (PSM) systems, policies, and procedures. You will work closely with the process safety engineers at the sites and the company’s HSE team to help ensure that production processes are safely designed, operated and tracked and that we comply with relevant regulations and standards. They report to the HSE Director.

Responsibilities:

· Supporting the development and maintenance of an enterprise-wide PSM program that includes risk assessment, process design and asset integrity, operating procedures, maintenance practices, and contingency plans.
· Review and analyze data on process safety incidents and potential process safety incidents at all sites to identify opportunities to improve process safety; Supporting the sites in the systematic investigation.
· Providing technical expertise and advice to site process safety engineers and other stakeholders on PSM-related matters.
· Supporting sites with risk assessments for process and plant safety.
· Participate in the company’s HSE audits and inspections and ensure corrective action is taken at all sites.
· Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to ensure that new processes are designed with safety considerations in mind and comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Profile Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related field.
· Experience in process and plant safety management as well as risk assessments in the field of plant safety, preferably in the chemical or petrochemical industry.
· Knowledge of SEVESO directives and other PSM standards and regulations.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
· Fluent in English and German – other languages such as French preferred.
· Willingness to travel.

Sie arbeiten eng mit den Prozesssicherheitsingenieuren an den Standorten und dem HSE-Team des Unternehmens zusammen, um zu unterstützen, dass Produktionsprozesse sicher konzipiert, betrieben und nachgehalten werden und dass wir die relevanten Vorschriften und Normen einhalten. Sie berichten an den HSE-Direktor.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Unterstützung der Entwicklung und Aufrechterhaltung eines unternehmensweiten PSM-Programms, das Risikobewertung, Prozessgestaltung und Anlagenintegrität, Betriebsverfahren, Wartungspraktiken und Notfallpläne umfasst
Überprüfung und Analyse von Daten über Vorfälle im Bereich der Prozesssicherheit und potenzielle Vorfälle im Bereich der Prozesssicherheit an allen Standorten, um Möglichkeiten zur Verbesserung der Prozesssicherheit zu ermitteln; Unterstützung der Standorte bei der systematischen Untersuchung
Bereitstellung von technischem Fachwissen und Beratung der Prozesssicherheitsingenieure an den Standorten und anderer Beteiligter in PSM-bezogenen Angelegenheiten
Unterstützung der Standorte bei Risikobewertungen zur Prozess- und Anlagensicherheit
Teilnahme an HSE-Audits und -Inspektionen des Unternehmens und Gewährleistung, dass an allen Standorten Korrekturmaßnahmen durchgeführt werden
Zusammenarbeit mit F&E- und Ingenieurteams, um sicherzustellen, dass neue Prozesse unter Berücksichtigung der Sicherheitsaspekte konzipiert werden und den einschlägigen Vorschriften und Normen entsprechen

Profile:

Bachelor-Abschluss in Chemieingenieurwesen oder einem verwandten Bereich,
Erfahrung im Bereich Prozess- und Anlagensicherheitsmanagement sowie Risikobewertungen im Bereich Anlagensicherheit, vorzugsweise in der chemischen oder petrochemischen Industrie
Kenntnisse der SEVESO-Richtlinien und anderer PSM-Normen und -Vorschriften
Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten und Problemlösungskompetenz
Hervorragende kommunikative und zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten, mit der Fähigkeit zur Kommunikation mit Beteiligten auf allen Ebenen der Organisation.
Fließend in Englisch und Deutsch – andere Sprachen wie Französisch bevorzugt

Mission d’emploi:

En tant qu’ingénieur en sécurité des usines et des procédés, vous soutiendrez le développement, la mise en œuvre et la maintenance des systèmes, politiques et procédures de gestion de la sécurité des usines (PSM). Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les ingénieurs en sécurité des processus sur les sites et avec l’équipe HSE de l’entreprise pour garantir que les processus de production sont conçus, exploités et suivis en toute sécurité et que nous respectons les réglementations et normes en vigueur. Ils rapportent au Directeur HSE.

Responsabilités:

Soutenir le développement et la maintenance d’un programme PSM à l’échelle de l’entreprise qui comprend l’évaluation des risques, la conception des processus et l’intégrité des actifs, les procédures opérationnelles, les pratiques de maintenance et les plans d’urgence.
Examiner et analyser les données sur les incidents de sécurité des processus et les incidents potentiels de sécurité des processus sur tous les sites afin d’identifier les opportunités d’améliorer la sécurité des processus ; Soutenir les lieux dans l’enquête systématique
Fournir une expertise technique et des conseils aux ingénieurs en sécurité des procédés du site et à d’autres parties prenantes sur les questions liées à la PSM
Soutenir les sites dans les évaluations des risques pour la sécurité des processus et des usines
Participer aux audits et inspections HSE de l’entreprise et garantir que des mesures correctives sont prises sur tous les sites.
Collaborer avec les équipes de R&D et d’ingénierie pour garantir que les nouveaux processus sont conçus en tenant compte des considérations de sécurité et sont conformes aux réglementations et normes en vigueur.

Profils:

Baccalauréat en génie chimique ou dans un domaine connexe,
Expérience dans la gestion de la sécurité des procédés et des installations ainsi que dans l’évaluation des risques dans le domaine de la sécurité des installations, de préférence dans l’industrie chimique ou pétrochimique
Connaissance des directives SEVESO et d’autres normes et réglementations PSM
Solides compétences analytiques et de résolution de problèmes
Excellentes compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles, avec la capacité de communiquer avec les parties prenantes à tous les niveaux de l’organisation.
Anglais et allemand courants – autres langues comme le français préférées
