After an initial training period, you will be responsible for the installation, start-up troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of hot runners and controllers at customers’ facilities located in Europe (mainly in Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland). The successful candidate will have direct customer contact to support different service cases by phone, email and/or on customer side. Regular reporting within the service documentation tool will be a daily responsibility. This role will either operate from home office if situated in Germany or onsite in Luxembourg with the assistance from our European headquarters in Luxembourg. This position is an entry position with opportunities to growth throughout the company. The position offers great challenges and has an impact on the final business result and growth. It is a unique opportunity to combine technology and inter-human contacts.

Responsibilities:

· 80% travel mainly across Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland but as well to other European countries;
· Responsible for setting up, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing Hot Runners and Controllers;
· Develop and maintain good customer relations;
· Provide Telephone and Virtual Service Support to customers;
· Provide maintenance and product trainings at customer
· Provide regular and effective written reports to the service coordinator.
· Promote aftermarket paid activities: spares, refurbishments, etc.

Qualifications:

· Technical qualification as Technician, Tool Maker, Process Engineer or equivalent experience
· Experience in injection molding
· Minimum knowledge of automation, signals exchange, and servo motors
· Knowledgeable in plastic materials such as PET, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, Polyamides, Polycarbonate, etc.
· Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics
· Ability to troubleshoot problems systematically
· English and German languages are a must
Additional qualifications:
· Experience in mold making and part design
· Experience with hot runners
· Experience with temperature controllers and other auxiliaries
· Familiar with injection molding plant / tool room environments
· Familiar with a diversity of injection molding machine brands
· Knowledgeable in Metrology product knowledge
· Any additional languages are an asset
