The Client:

A leading family-owned company, producing engineering polymer materials and are a highly integrated solution provider committed to the sustainable future of polyamides.
With ten production sites and several sales offices around the world, this organization serves customers and partners globally.

The Role:

· Develop, set and achieve annual production targets as part of the site and business objectives and in line with the strategic direction of the site
· Inspiration and leadership to define and achieve visions and goals with employees
· Responsibility for driving forward and implementing continuous improvement processes

Responsibilities:

· Overall responsibility for the production area for the manufacture of inorganic primary products and fertilizers, consisting of several process plants
· Management and development of employees
· Responsibility for planning, organizing and developing the necessary resources
· Planning and implementation of maintenance and investment measures
· Development of continuous improvement potentials and implementation of suitable optimization measures and strategies for continuous further development and efficiency increases in technologies and processes
· Hazard analyses to assess and ensure proper operational procedures
· Planning, control and adherence to budgets
·Control, tracking and reporting of production KPIs

Candidate Skills and Attributes:

· Successfully completed university studies in the field of chemistry, process engineering / chemical engineering or in a similar field
· Several years of experience in the management of employees and in the management of chemical plants/operations
· Proven background in operational excellence
· High level of expertise and responsibility in occupational health and safety and environmental protection
· Sound knowledge and experience in project management
· Authentic and empathetic leader
· Experience in the design of change processes
· In-depth understanding of complex value creation processes
· Business fluent in English
· Very good knowledge of Office 365
· High motivation, reliability, flexibility, high sense of responsibility
· Strong communication skills, creative and pragmatic implementation skills
·Convincing and confident appearance
