Location: Leipzig area, Germany

Responsible for the company’s production division.
This includes the effective and successful management of all work, productivity, quality control and safety processes defined for the production departments.
Responsible for improving operations, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes and seeking opportunities to expand and improve systems in the production department
Performing supervisory duties in accordance with company guidelines and applicable laws.
Management and development of employees Production

Main Tasks:

· Strategic selection and planning of employees Production
· Manage, motivate, assess, and strategically develop subordinate employees.
· Carry out coordinated individual personnel measures in the area.
· Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal requirements
· Maintaining a safe, injury-free and accident-free workplace
· Work closely with the safety department to ensure that all processes comply with operational, legal and other regulatory requirements.
· Acts as contact person when customer problems arise in connection with product quality (support of the QMB)
· Communicating customer issues with the operations team and developing ways to improve the customer experience, including resolving issues and complaints (supporting the QMB)
· Contributing to recommendations for strategic improvements and creating and completing the resulting action plans
· Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; solve problems; identify trends to optimize productivity and costs.
· Create forecast requirements/annual budget in cooperation with management/Group; plan resulting expenses; analyze variances; initiate corrective measures.
· Develop operations by determining product handling and storage requirements, developing, implementing, enforcing and evaluating policies and procedures, developing processes for internal delivery of raw materials and production of products, utilization of machinery, inventory management and shipping, in close collaboration with other operational areas.
· Analyzing the process workflow, employee, and space requirements as well as the system layout; implementing changes
· Continuous updating of professional knowledge by attending training courses, seminars, and trade fairs. Reading specialist publications; maintaining personal networks.
· Budget responsibility for the areas of production, including compliance, planning, and monitoring of expenditure.
· Work closely with the MD and management team to establish and / or implement policies, procedures and systems and continue implementation.
· Communicate all operational policies and/or issues at department meetings.
· Work closely with the team to conduct inventory analysis to ensure inventory is being used effectively, the right equipment is being sourced and inventory data is robustly maintained to minimize external storage costs.

Responsible for the mass balance of raw materials and finished products.

Superiority and Subordination, authority to issue instructions, representation:

· Subordinate to the management in technical and disciplinary terms
· Technical and disciplinary authority to issue instructions to employees in all productive processes and work processes (production, mixing)

Documents and Information:

· Various documents as well as process and work instructions

Working and Operating Materials:

· Machines and systems on site, computers with standard and special software

Required knowledge and skills:

· Technical degree, at least 5 years of specialist professional experience in project and/or production management, English (business fluent)
