We are recruiting a Global Director of Talent Management for a growing, international manufacturing business.

This is a high-impact leadership role with global reach.

A position where you will shape how talent is attracted, developed and retained across multiple regions and sites.

 

The Opportunity:

This role sits at the heart of the business strategy.

You will lead a truly integrated talent approach, with equal focus on:

• Talent Acquisition – attracting high-calibre, future-ready talent globally
• Talent Development – building leadership capability and long-term organisational strength
• Working closely with senior leadership and regional HR teams, you will define how the organisation builds and sustains its talent pipeline.

 

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Talent Acquisition:

• Define and deliver a global hiring strategy aligned to growth
• Build strong pipelines for hard-to-find technical and leadership roles
• Elevate employer brand across key international markets
• Introduce data-led recruitment practices to improve outcomes
• Partner with external search firms and industry networks

 

Talent Development:

• Design and implement global development frameworks
• Build succession plans for critical roles across all regions
• Lead leadership development and high-potential programmes
• Embed performance and talent review processes
• Support organisational change and capability building

 

What Success Looks Like:

• A clear, globally aligned talent strategy
• Strong leadership pipeline and succession coverage
• Improved hiring outcomes in specialist roles
• Consistent talent processes across regions
• Measurable improvements in retention, engagement and mobility

 

About You:

• Proven experience in a senior global talent leadership role
• Background in manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments
• Experience across both talent acquisition and development
• Track record of building talent frameworks in international businesses
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Data-driven, with a focus on measurable outcomes
• Comfortable operating across multiple cultures and geographies
