Based in Northern Germany

Salary: Dependent on experience: 50,000 – 90,000 Euros per annum

Working conditions: Working from home
Company car provided for both business and private use

Reporting into: Group Head of Sales

Company Overview:

Founded in 1990 as a specialist in food packaging, our client manufactures and distribute singe use packaging for the food industry. With a keen focus on sustainability and innovation, this company are keen to sell more sustainable products and services and with this in mind, they’re looking for two field sales representatives who are located in the northern regions of Germany to help bolster their efforts.

Role Overview:

As a Field Sales Representative your main objective will be: To be known and to be seen, your sole target is to conduct regular customer visits and ensure strong customer partnerships are built! You will be responsible for defining and applying sales policy, you will manage your own budget, sales and results. Whilst part of a strong, diverse group you will be able to offer the whole portfolio of products from different European locations and production methods, to ensure the best solution is sourced for your customers.

· Apply and follow the effective sales strategy to achieve growth targets in the assigned area and to effectively sell all products and packaging solutions within the group.
· Prospect new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
· Manage the complete sales cycle, with the support of the customer service, from prospecting to contract closure (customer visits, reports, pricing, new projects as examples)
· Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of products and/or services.
· Monitor market trends and provide valuable insights to improve products and sales strategies.
· Participate in trade shows and events to enhance the company’s market presence.
· Regularly conducting competition analysis and understanding the needs of customers presently and potential needs for the future. (General market research)
· Ensure customers are kept up to date and informed in relation to products and services.

Candidate Profile:

· Whilst industry relevance would be advantageous, (food sector and/or packaging) the ideal candidate will be someone who considers themselves to be hands-on, resilient, adaptable and a team player.
· Has prior experience within sales and has had exposure working in the field.
· You consider yourself to be customer oriented and have good customer service skills.
· You’re independent and able to work autonomously whilst also working with your team.
· You enjoy a challenge and can overcome everyday obstacles, you’re proactive in this nature.
· Must be a fluent English speaker, additional languages would be a nice addition.
