Client Overview:

Our client is a dynamic & international company offering logistics solutions. They specialize in delivering the best transport and warehousing products while offering the best quality of comprehensive logistic services using pallets, roll containers and metal boxes.

Main Purpose of Role:

Reporting to the Managing Director Germany and Austria, and the Procurement Director, this key role plays an important part in driving forward a strong change and transformation program, enhancing the quality and value of purchasing across a specific Business Unit.

Role Overview:

· Responsible for all buying activities for the Business Unit.
· Responsible that all procurement activities at the Business Unit are in line with Rotom’s procurement policy.
· Continuously alignment with Business Unit Key Stakeholders on orders, needs, availability, pricing and changes.
· Enter all Business Unit requirements such as purchase orders, follow up, confirmation registration and expedite.
· Responsible for ensuring that the parameters are correct on the ERP system (MS AX) for Articles, Pricing, Vendors, Ordering.
· Responsible for stock management.
· Ensure Quality management, monitoring, evaluation, and supplier development management.
· Ensure deployment of tactical procurement from Category Buyers for direct as well as indirect sourcing based on a minimum set spend value.
· Responsible for tactical procurement for a maximum set spend value.
· Responsible, where possible, to enable call-off employees to order under your supervision.

Candidate profile:

· Bachelor or Technical degree in Supply Chain/Logistic/Business Education with a minimum of 2 year buyer experience
· Preferable knowledge of ERP systems (eg. Microsoft AX or D365).
· Good ICT software capabilities (Windows, MS office, MS BI)
· Demonstrated networking ability with strong negotiations skills.
· A commercial drive accompanied by good business insight and an out of the box attitude.
· Fluent in English and German. An additional language is an advantage.
· Flexible and hands-on working mentality
