Client Overview:

A world-renowned packaging systems and solutions manufacturer, at the forefront of developing unique solutions, that help customers innovate differentiated products, build smarter filling plants and create interactive packs of the future.

Role Overview:

· Design a holistic, long-term strategy, in close coordination with all departments, on route to customer.
· Provide robust technical solutions, whilst proposing and designing Customer Roadmaps, in collaboration with marketing.
· Coordinates and follows-up required actions, through management and collaboration, with internal stakeholders, such as, technical service, marketing, project and quality departments, both within the French structure, as well as European or global departments.
· Acquires new customers, whilst developing and maintaining relationships, with existing customers and prospects, on all levels and within different departments.
· Creates business cases and calculates their profitability (via existing Project Calculation Tool) to present them internally, for approval.
· Negotiates profitable sales, keeping a focus on high margins e. g. negotiating prices & conditions for sleeves, spouts, filling machines, upgrades and optimizations, with the customer and designs offer for filling machines and packaging material.
· Performs sales activities, on major accounts and negotiates sales prices and discounts, in consultation with the Head of France.
· Documents customer reports and negotiated conditions.
· Forecasts the expected customer account development and plans the volume and price development for allocated area accordingly (accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly volume and revenue)
· Responsible to reach the expected gross profit for respective customer accounts.
· Supports Sales intelligence and coordinates company and area resources, to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
· Supports market area reconnaissance, in cooperation with Global Business Intelligence.

 

Candidate Profile:

· Bachelor’ or Master’s Degree in economics or technical degree.
· Sales/project management experience within the packaging or food industry.
· Experience in building up and maintaining customer relationships, ideally in B2B.
· Strong in creating conceptional sales pitches, based on our solution selling approach.
· Keen to develop sustainable leads with customers.
· Readiness to travel up to 50%.
