The role:
As part of strong growth and the creation of a new position, you will join the Sales and formulation team and report directly to the CCO. As an Expert Formulation Chemist, your main role will be to support the commercial development of biosolvents by creating cutting-edge formulations tailored to customers’ needs.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop cutting-edge household and formulations for CASE applications, using the latest technological advances and industry best practice. As part of strong growth and the creation of a new position, you will join the Sales and formulation team and report directly to the CCO. As an Expert Formulation Chemist, your main role will be to support the commercial development of biosolvents by creating cutting-edge formulations tailored to customers’ needs.
· Design and develop cutting-edge household and formulations for CASE applications, using the latest technological advances and industry best practice.
· Act as an expert in formulation chemistry, both internally and externally with universities, institutes and formulation laboratories, and in technical discussions with CASE customers.
· Leading and supervising product development projects, from conception to market launch, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
· Understand market needs and proactively develop new formulations, protecting new applications with strong intellectual property.
· Working closely with R&D and Business Development teams to ensure the effectiveness and feasibility of formulations.
· Evaluate and select raw materials, taking into account performance, cost and sustainability criteria.
· Analysing and interpreting laboratory data to optimise existing formulations and suggest improvements.
Candidate Profile:
· University degree BAC+5 or PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering or related field.
· Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the development of chemical product formulations, CASE industries.
· Proven experience in filing intellectual property applications.
· Appreciated experience in direct customer engagement.
· Knowledge of megatrends in the CASE sector and ability to translate these needs into solutions.
· Sound technological knowledge and ability to apply it
· Excellent level of English
