As a member of the service team, the successful candidate will be responsible to perform all the activities required to provide technical support to internal/external customers including but not limited to set up, maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization and repairing of injection molding systems. Working with the call center, spare parts, & customers directly to diagnose issues.
Approximately 90% local regional travel within assigned region (Monday – Friday) in addition possible 10% North American travel. Some weekend work will be required.

Technical/Professional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems with equipment, orders replacement parts, completes repairs and/or replaces components on machines and/or robots.
· Ability to work with new and evolving technologies.
· Conduct testing and inspection on equipment as required.
· Completes work orders, and written reports on a regular basis.
· Ability to interface effectively across manufacturing, engineering, sales and service functions.
· Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills to obtain and exchange complex technical information.
· Good computer skills and operation knowledge of Windows based applications
· MUST be able to speak both French and English
· Strong problem resolution skills with a proven ability to think outside of the box.
· Positive attitude and work ethic
· Energetic
· Strong electrical background and mechanically inclined.
· Good organizational skills and ability to work independently, interact effectively and professionally with customers.
· Flexible to travel to Canada.
· Performs other special projects as required or as assigned by a Manager / Supervisor

Qualifications:

· Minimum 2-year Technical Associates degree/diploma
· Experience with injection molding equipment including assembly, testing, service and engineering.
· Familiarity with Injection molding equipment and/or associated products, including machines, molds, robots and other product handling equipment would be an asset.
· Knowledge of blueprints and schematics
· Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
· Ability to work independently.
· Communication and interpersonal skills and strong customer service
· Dedicated team player
