Our client is an established international manufacturing group specialising in high-quality plastic piping systems and accessories. With four production sites across Europe and a strong focus on growth in the European markets, the company combines manufacturing expertise with a customer-focused approach and a commitment to reliable, high-quality solutions.

To strengthen its team, we are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Customer Service & Sales Support Specialist (m/f/d) to support customers in Austria and provide backup for the German market.
You don’t need to come from the plastics or pipe industry to succeed in this role. If you have experience with manufactured products, enjoy working with customers and have a good technical understanding, this could be the perfect opportunity to take the next step in your career.

 

Your Responsibilities:

· Act as a reliable point of contact for Austrian customers, providing friendly, professional advice and support by phone and email.
· Prepare accurate price calculations and tailored quotations based on customer requirements.
· Manage customer projects from the initial enquiry through to order processing and successful completion.
· Coordinate orders for manufactured and traded goods, ensuring that customer requirements are met.
· Organise and monitor deliveries, working closely with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure everything arrives on time.
· Handle online tenders and support the preparation and submission of relevant documentation.
· Maintain accurate customer, quotation and project information in the CRM system.
· Prepare and maintain product documentation, including technical data sheets and safety data sheets.
· Support the wider team and provide backup for customers in Germany when required.

 

The Candidate:

· Professional written and spoken German and English.
· Experience in customer service, sales support, order management, project coordination or logistics, ideally in a manufacturing or technical product environment.
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook. Experience with CRM or ERP systems is an advantage.
· You work in a structured, reliable and independent manner, take ownership of your tasks and follow things through to completion.
· Solution oriented approach.
· Communicative, approachable and enjoy working with customers and colleagues to achieve shared goals.
