Tooling Technician

We are recruiting for a Tooling Technician to join our team at Spennymoor.

Responsibilities

Complete all tool fits and insert changes safely and to a high standard

Support the NPI process by reporting new tooling issues when fitting

Understand machine setup and internal processes, completing first drop of parts on the tool fit to ensure there are no issues

Maintain machines and machine chests

Carry out 5s procedures at the start of and during your shift

Assist with Tool fitting & preparation operations, including gun maintenance etc. Demonstrating full understanding of process.

Follow daily production plans for tool fit times and order, to support production.

Complete combi-lift checks

Take part in handovers, prior to shift commencing. Complete handovers at the end of shift, to ensure smooth transition and communication of work within the team.

Working Hours

2 shifts rotating – 6am-2pm & 2pm – 10pm Monday to Friday.
