Working Pattern: Mon to Thurs, 4 x 12 hour shifts weekly alternating day/night shift pattern (no working weekends)

Week 1: Mon to Thu 6am-6pm, Week 2: Mon to Thu 6pm-6am

This is a permanent position which would suit candidates looking for long term employment stability.

We are seeking candidates to join our close knit team to operate in our blown polythene extrusion department. Candidates will be required to follow concise written production specifications ensuring full conformity of product whilst ensuring that production targets and scrap targets are achieved. Candidates should consider that the role involves a high percentage of manual work

We are seeking candidates with the following experience and skills:

  • Numeracy skills with the ability to understand targets, percentages and tolerances;
  • A good standard of verbal and written English to be able to understand and follow instructions;
  • Ability to work in a team environment;
  • Positive with a “can do” attitude;
  • Physically able to carry out manual work throughout the duration of a 12 hour shift;
  • Reliable and committed, with excellent time keeping and attendance;
  • Previous experience operating similar machinery in the plastics or packaging industry would be an advantage, however training would be given to other candidates considered suitable.

CPR Manufacturing is a long established recycling and extrusion facility producing LDPE, MDPE, linear and compostable films for the industrial, retail, trade, local authority and healthcare sectors. It was acquired in January 2020 to expand Cromwell Polythene’s UK manufacturing and recycling base supporting the family run business to achieve its mission to be the most resourceful company in plastics, supplying products that help make the world cleaner, greener and more economical.
