An international manufacturer of high-performance packaging materials is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support its continued growth across Europe.
This is an opportunity to join a technically driven business with a strong reputation for innovation, quality and customer partnership. Reporting to European leadership, you will play a key role in developing existing customer relationships while identifying new market opportunities across the region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow an established customer portfolio across Europe
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and target markets
• Support the introduction of new products and applications
• Prepare, negotiate and manage commercial proposals
• Provide sales forecasts and contribute to business planning activities
• Work closely with internal stakeholders including technical, operational and commercial teams
• Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events and trade exhibitions

 

Candidate Profile:

• Proven success within technical B2B sales
• Experience within packaging materials, plastics, coatings, converting, industrial materials or related manufacturing sectors
• Commercially astute with a strong customer-focused approach
• Self-motivated, independent and comfortable working remotely
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational and planning capabilities
• Fluent English and good German language skills are essential
• Willingness to travel across Europe as required
