Together with their customers, Washington Penn is discovering more ways to create cost-effective and high-performance polyolefins that bridge the cost and performance gaps between traditional engineering resins and commodity thermoplastics.
Products Include:
- Mineral-reinforcing agents to help enhance your applications.
- Fiber-Reinforced strengthening polypropylene
- High performing Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO)
- Renewable fibers and recycle technologies to meet sustainable design requirements.
- Polyolefin-based color and additive masterbatch.
Position Outline:
This position is responsible for maximizing sales opportunities by establishing, growing and maintaining relationships with our existing and new Regional Accounts in France and IBERIA Region. The Account Manager (AM) will lead the establishment, negotiation, implementation, and compliance of agreements which drive profitable growth for AUDIA Company. The AM will focus on prospecting for new Customers, deploying existing Customer specific strategies and programs to grow share of market.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for searching and contacting new prospects in his/her territory in order to extend Customer portfolio
- Acts as the primary point of contact to the customers in the region, including key accounts headquartered in France and Iberia.
- Coordination of sales activities to those accounts inside AUDIA.
- Responsible for growing and supporting assigned existing accounts allowing adequate time to develop relationships with multiple contacts
- Develop strong relationships across the customers` organization to influence decision makers at all levels
- Focus on expanding product categories for greater share on market and implement new programs to drive margin and volume improvement.
- Manage extensive travel based on priorities and be responsible for customer action planning and project management to meet growth objectives.
- Negotiate sound and favorable agreements to drive business
- Working directly with buyers, product development and marketing people at customers to anticipate future needs and ensure that solutions are developed to meet their needs
- Working closely with the internal technical support team to ensure that customers` current requirements are understood and met
- Perform value added selling through customer education, sample requests and offering our product development services to exceed Customer expectations
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated sales experience in a business-to-business environment
- At least 5 years of experience in the plastic industry
- Experience with polyolefins and/or engineering resins in Automotive industry
- The ability to discover and define commercial and technical customer requirements
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
- Able to establish and build relationships at all levels
- Clear sense of ethics and a high standard of professional conduct
- Self- motivated professional with a straightforward approach to problem solving
- Team player
- Able and willing to travel to Customer sites throughout Europe, and US for business meetings and trainings
Language Knowledge:
- Native French speaker
- Fluent in English
- Spanish is an advantage
